Spring of Faith

If the world starts over and calendars stops flipping
I wonder if I would again see you
Would we know each other in a glance?
Or there’s nothing to be remembered?

If the sun shines backward, and tomorrows are yesterdays
I wonder if I would recognized your face
Would it be nothing but glare?
Or a rewind I would decipher?

If sound stops rippling, and ears hears nothing
I wonder if I would again hear your voice
Would we be hearing those lips?
Or we will give up and grow unheard?

And if love recedes from our hearts and feel nothing
Started over, shone back, and unheard
Would we be feeling the same thing?
Or undoubtedly, emotions would be unborn?

No. Thank God it wouldn’t be
Because our love was like a spring
Destroyed, repeated, or discarded
It would just insist on growing back
Because it is our fate to be together
Destined no matter what…
